PowerLib collects one thing: an email address, and only if you type it into the sign-up form. This page says what happens to it.

Who runs this site

PowerLib is written and run by Iwa Sanjaya, in Indonesia. For anything on this page, email hello.powerlib@gmail.com.

What is collected

Your email address, at the moment you submit the sign-up form. Nothing else: no account, no advertising cookies, no analytics profile, no tracking pixels in the email. Netlify, which hosts the site, keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp — the way every web host does.

What it is for

One email when a new technique is published. That is the entire purpose. No digest, no marketing sequence, no announcements for anyone else's product.

The legal basis

Consent, given twice: once when you submit the form, and again when you click the confirmation link. Until that second click, nothing but that one confirmation email is ever sent to you.

Who else touches it

Resend, a US-based email provider, holds the list and sends the mail as a processor on PowerLib's behalf. There is no separate database here.

How long it is kept

Until you unsubscribe. Every email carries an unsubscribe link in its footer, and using it removes you from the list.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing, and you can ask for a copy of what is held, a correction, or deletion by emailing the address above. Those rights are recognised by Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022) and, for readers in the EU and UK, by the GDPR and UK GDPR.

What never happens

Your address is never sold, never shared with another publisher, and never passed to an advertising network.
